The main goal of the workshop is to promote the Novel Innovations on research and applications of Synthetic Aperture Radar and to exchange information on recent research directions in this area. The conference will cover many current topics as aircraft and small satellite onboard SAR system, radar application, signal processing, antenna design, interferometry, polarimetry, mapping and so on. An important role of the workshop will be to provide a forum for technical interactions among industry practitioners, research scientists from subject matter area.
Paper Submission
The International Workshop on Synthetic Aperture Radar (IWSAR2009) serves the Oral Session for Invited Presentations and Poster Session for Open Submissions. The Committee encourage you to submit the paper for Poster Sessions. Please, send the list of author(s), affiliation(s) and abstract. We will arrange the Program base on this information.
Proceedings and Guide for Authors
The proceedings of IWSAR2009 will be published after the Symposium held. The official language is English. The paper(s) for Proceedings must be written in Microsoft Word (MS-Word) and submit as attachment file to Associate Prof. Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo by email (jtetukoss@faculty.chiba-u.jp) with no more than 6 MB. If the attachment file(s) is more than 6 MB, please send to jtetukoss@nifty.com. The guide for authors in Microsoft Word and adobe acrobat format could be downloaded below.

Projectors and Poster Panel
The committee prepared PC Projector at the Symposium for Invited Presenters, and Poster Panel with A1 size (594 x 841 mm or 23.4 x 33.1 inches) for Presenters of Open Submissions. The Invited Presenters are recommended to prepare the presentations in Microsoft Powerpoint format (.ppt). Please bring your own note PC with a standard connector for computer presentation. In the case that you cannot bring one and you want to use a computer, we recommend to bring the presentation files on CD-ROM or USB memory. Japan’s electricity works with 100 Volts. If you have any questions about the devices, please don’t be hesitate to contact the IWSAR2009 Secretariat Office.
